Firearms Licence Enquiry Desks Opened at all Provincial FLASH Offices

FIREARMS LICENCE ENQUIRY DESKS NOW AT ALL PROVINCIAL FALSH OFFICES
In order to improve the effective administration of the Firearms Control, Liquor and Second-Hand Goods legislation, enquiry desks have been established at all the respective provincial Firearms, Liquor and Second-Hand Goods Services (FLASH) offices. These enquiry desks will, according to SAPS, serve internal and external clients to drastically improve service delivery.
The FLASH enquiry desks will deal with the following:
- All enquiries pertaining to the administration of the Firearms Control, Liquor and Second-Hand Goods legislation in the provinces
- All enquiries pertaining to applications for the renewal of firearm licences (please note that the processing and consideration of the renewal of firearm licences, have been decentralised to the provincial offices)
- All enquiries pertaining to applications for the processing of second-hand goods registration
- All enquiries pertaining to the enforcement of compliance with national and provincial liquor legislation
- All enquiries pertaining to the circulation of firearms in the provinces.
